geoid 2003

Postby PAT DONOHOE » Tue Sep 13, 2005 7:44 pm

has anyone had any problems using geoid 2003 with survce. i am able to
load the files thru x-port. when i try to use them in the field it tells
me that i am out of the range. i have tried all possible file sizes and
created geoid 99 files of the same areas and the geoid 99 files work fine.
can anyone help with this problem?

I've been using Geoid99 files for my area (SE USA) for quite some time with
no problems.

You need to make sure you are really generating geoid files for your area by
paying attention to the coordinates you are entering.

You could also be in the wrong SPC system in the Data Collector.

Other than that...... I don't know.
