SurvCE Stakeout Screen BUG

Postby John Roberson » Sun Oct 09, 2005 8:43 am

Hi Carlson,

You have a bug in your program when choosing a point from the graphics
screen while in stakeout mode.

If I am at the SurvCE main screen where Store Points, Stakeout Points,
Stakeout Line/Arc, etc is listed and choose Stake Points, the next screen
gives me the option of choosing a point graphically from the map. This
screen is basically a full graphics screen that is about 85% graphics and a
smaller window about 15% that size that says "pick point". The "BACK" button
is in the upper right hand corner.

So far so good....... there really isn't a problem with this screen except
why does it take 2 or 3 lines to display "Pick Point" when 1 line would have
been sufficient, thus allowing more of the graphics screen to display more
points?

The problem occurs when I choose a point, stake it, store the shot and then
return to the Stakeout Points screen and then choose another point to stake
by tapping on the graphics icon with the pencil shown on it.

Now the screen gives me a graphical view of the points where I can tap on a
point to stake, but the graphics screen is about 30% the size it was and the
window that says "Pick Point" has now grown to where it covers about 70% of
the screen and the "BACK" button is located in the center of the screen
instead of in the upper right hand corner. The "MENU" buton is now in the
upper right hand corner, but it does not function so why is it there?

This makes it VERY DIFFICULT to see what point I am trying to pick so I can
stake it.

Why not have the first screen I described appear for both situations?

Will you please fix this as soon as possible?

Thanks
