DXF export - improper table entry name LEVEL 1

Once all our data is collected for the day, we use the DXF export command
to capture the linework generated using the feature codes list (FCL). We
have been successfully doing this for some time, but now the following
error occurs when attempting to open (or insert into another drawing) the
exported DXF:

Improper table entry name LEVEL 1 on line 240.

Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.

We are losing *a bit* of productivity as this was one of the reasons we
upgraded to SurvCE.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jim

We are having the same problem with AutoCad Map Release 3 with LDD but the dxfix doesn't work for us in a project. Any other suggestions?
