I'm running an Alegro CE with SurvCE on a Topcon GPT-3005W. Everytime I
start a new job where I'll make a new point and give it a false northing
and easting (ie. N:10000 E:10000, EL: 100) and backsight to an unknown
point, it prompts me to use azimuth or enter coordinates. Obviously I
don't have the coords, so I use azimuth. So then it supposedly calculates
my point, and stores it, and its all fine and dandy on the data collector,
but when it comes to post processing and I import the raw data file into
Trimble Geomatics Office, my backsight point comes in with no data at all,
no elev, no northing, no easting. Is there a setting i'm missing in
SurvCE? Or is it something to do with the post processing program I am
using?
