Line Codes

For line codes, our collector only prompts for attributes after the line is
closed. I would like the ability to complete the attributes on every shot
of a line.

Is there a setting that will prompt for attributes on every shot of a line
code?

IN the file menu of SurvCE
go to the Feature Code list tab
then the special codes tab
then the settings button
check store GIS line data to Vertices
this is how it works under version 1.65

in pervious versions there was just a check box for doing this
under the Feature Code List / Special Codes

Would you know if this is suppose to work in version 1.50.008? There is a
place that we can check "store GIS line data to vertices", but it still
doesn't prompt for attributes on line codes till the user ends the line.

I see what you are wanting .
If you need to have different attributes on points along the line then the
only way that i know how to do this is to set the line description to a
point only description in SurvCE and then draw the lines once you get the
data in to Carlson field to finish.
