John,
I guess I didn't make myself clear. I was creating the feature code list
in Cazlson X-port. When I add feature codes in X-port they always go to
the top of the list, never in aphabetical order. Also, I have the letter
"T" setup as a code with line work but no line work is ever generated on
my Explorer 600+ runing SurvCE 1.65. I have other single letter line codes
setup and they work fine but "T" will not work.
I have resorted to using DOS editor to create a feature code list in
aphabetical order and that works fine since the FCL file is comma
delimited ASCII file.
Thanks,
LloydL

Hello,
I ran a few tests in SurvCE 1.65 {You can check your current version by
tapping Equip / About SurvCE}.
Every Code I added went into order automatically by Numbers first then
Letters. So 21 would go above 35 and above aa2. And bld would go after
aa2
as I add them in using the "ADD" Button in File / Feature Code
List inside
SurvCE.
I didn't have any problem setting up the Code "T" and using it
with
Linework, it would have to be set to "Linework" = YES in the
Feature Code
list. And you have to use "T" with a space after it in the
Description of
your Point when you store it.

I have a new Carlson 600+ and am trying to set up a feature code
list.
Is there any setting to make the list appear in aphabetical order?
When I
add codes they always appear at the top of the existing list
reguardless
of what letter the code stats with.
Also, can you use single letter codes? I am having trouble with
some
single letter codes not producing the expected line work (the
single
letter "T", for example, that I use for telephone cable
Thanks in advance.
