problem with survce2.0 stake/arc

Postby Tim W Marshall » Tue Jun 05, 2007 3:05 pm

the program has a problem in stakeout to an arc(3 points and pc,value,pt).
the first position as you enter the routine is returning correctly,it
appears when you return to advance to the next position, the horizontal
stationing indicating the alignment length has changed from 0+00 to some
new beginning and ending value.the routine will attempt to stake the
location completely wrong.

Be careful

point on the arc by point on line(the second option)is a temporary go
around as you never return to the setup screen for a new station location
to set out.

I spoke with the group with carlson a few days ago, they supposedly are
reporting the problem to the programmers and may be corrected in the next
patch.maybe about 2 weeks, but we know how that goes.
