Be Sure and Check Localization File in 2.0

Postby Terry Strickland » Wed Jun 13, 2007 4:38 am

I have noticed that if I localize to a OPUS point after doing the
survey, the localization does not always automatically load the next
time I open the job, even though I have this option checked on. It only
appears to do this if I create the localization file and re-process the
raw file to generate new coords, and am NOT connected to the GPS
receivers, hiper lites in my case.

This happened on two jobs for me, but I caught it. Be sure and check
that the localization file is loading if you are using this procedure.

However, it is always just good practice to check it anyway. It is also
good practice to check into a known point and store the base position
for each rtk session.
This could get us into trouble if we don't catch it.
fwiw,
