We are using Leica TPS 700 series Total Stations with Carlson Explorer II
Data Collectors with version 2.02 loaded. We are experiencing problems
when we are staking points. The problem is when the rodman gets at the
point or near the point. The Data Collector will tell to move about a
tenth of foot either forward or back. The rodman will move the distance as
stated on the Data Collector. They will take another shot and it will tell
to move again about a tenth of foot. If you shot the distance with the
Total Station the distances stay constant, but is not consistent with the
Data Collector. We are also experiencing the same problem with a Collector
using version 1.67. Does any know how to correct this problem?
