Hi,
Is it possible to use the SurvCE device near the prizm and at a distance
from the total station? I have read something about CarlSync but I'm not
know how it works.

It is possible to use a data collector at the prism instead of the total station. In order to achive this scenario, you must use some sort of radio communication.
