Code Listing and LDD 2008

Postby heco » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:57 pm

Hello Again,

As you know I am Seeing if SurvCE will suit my needs.

Land Desk Top 2008- imports field book files with a "B" for "Begin Line" and "E" for "End Line", "Cont" for "Continue Line".

To my knowledge It will not recognize the Fence+7, FenceEnd, or even FenceBeg

How will it recognize the Continue 500?

Can you have multiple lines going?

I do not want to import a DXF file for linework. That takes the control away from LDD.

I don't use LDD but we do use SurvCE and the code you mention like Fence+7, FenceEnd are the codes that Carlson software recognizes to draw lines. If what you are doing now for codes like BEG 502 is in the point description you can type that in using SurvCE and the data collector will not care, SurvCE will not draw lines but the codes will be there for LDD to use.
