Reference line / Auto by Interval

At our company we are new users at SurvCE.
Nearly in all our jobs we use a baseline, so that we always can see the DAL/DOL values to the line.
This function have I found in the Store Sections menu in the Road arrea.
So far so god.
In some of our jobs we need to store data in a specific interval, while we are driving along our baseline with a ATV.
In the Survey menu there is the Auto by Interval function. But there I can´t see any information about a baseline.
Is there a way to do this kind of meassurement?
We are using: Carlson terminal/SurvCE ver. 2.30/Astech ProFlex 500
