Carlson SurveCE 2.5 - vertical errors
Posted: Thu May 27, 2010 9:34 pmRented a Topcon 9000 series robot with Carlson on their Topcon collector; Just wanted to warn all folks out there with Carlson SurvCE 2.5 that I ran into an error recently. It was incurring around ±0.15 of vertical error on shots and backsights. Went back to the dealer, they rolled it back to 2.09 and things went hunky dory from there. Just FYI, be careful (as always)--check your work and tell your crews to do the same with new stuff.
