Carlson Takes over AutoCAD

When installing Carlson, it completely takes over the CAD environment and launches even when shooting for the plain AutoCAD. I've played around and found that typing "menu" and loading acad.cui reverts to plain, but once you re-launch carlson it once again takes over and have to do the menu command. How can I have the plain AutoCAD when double clicking its shortcut icon without having to go through this menu command procedure

I have the exact same issue that you are talking about. The only solution that I have found that works well is to save a profile in AutoCAD. When I need to use the Carlson software I use the Carlson shortcut on my desktop, use the software for what I need and then close out of it. I then go to AutoCAD and go into the options and load the saved profile. This puts the AutoCAD instance back to what I am used to. I wish they would fix it so that it does not affect the AutoCAD functionality at all.
