Hello,

Software is software which emulates and expands upon print reference forms including the dictionary, translation dictionary, encyclopedia, thesaurus, and atlas. Like print references, reference software can either be general or specific to a domain, and often includes maps and illustrations, as well as bibliography and statistics.

Thanks,

Software Navigability

Postby marksmith » Sun Feb 27, 2011 10:24 am

As we roll out Server, we are finding some users are frustrated with the apparently poor navigability of Tableau Server, when compared to Tableau Reader. It turns out they have been really happy with the tabbed worksheet ribbon along the bottom of the Reader view, and also with the Thumbnail workbook viewer (one of the tabs in the Top Right). These features aren't reproduced in Server.

What we'd like is:
- default workbook view on Server to be configured to be List View, rather than require user to click on List each time
- A better thumbnail viewer, similar to the one in Tableau Reader
- a better way to go directly from one View to another in Server without having to go back to the menu each time (you can can do this in Reader using the tabs, but you can't do it in Server)

Magellan announced today the introduction of the first mapping software for rugged handheld GPS navigation devices containing a detailed map of the entire Republic of Mexico. Magellan MapSend Topo Mexico provides extensive searchable points of interest, topography, parks and highways, plus street detail for cities with a population of 50,000 or more. Available on a convenient preloaded Secure Digital (SD) memory card, the software converts compatible Magellan eXplorist(TM) and Meridian(TM) handheld GPS receivers into powerful travel tools allowing outdoor enthusiasts, tourists and adventurers to navigate with ease through both suburban and urban areas, on foot or behind the wheel.

"MapSend Mexico Topo delivers extensive street and land navigation data for popular travel destinations that can’t be found on any other product," said Raj Mitra, senior director of worldwide product marketing for Magellan Consumer Products. "This furthers our commitment to providing customers with unique solutions that enhance the versatility and functionality of Magellan GPS handhelds to address specific navigation needs for a variety of outdoor activities."

MapSend Topo Mexico basemap includes freeways, highways, streets, footpaths, railroads, parks and municipal boundaries in urban areas. The points of interest database contains 24 categories including airports, shops and plazas, entertainment, sports centers and health facilities, plus locations of numerous outdoor attractions like archeological ruins, gardens and volcanoes.

Magellan MapSend Topo Mexico is the latest in a wide range of software solutions for the desktop and the outdoors that enable users to access topographic maps, marine charts and street navigation – all on a single Magellan GPS receiver.

Possibly just a few bad apples using various forum etc. to post links to manipulate search results for their clients...

Possibly links posted to hacked sited that will try to exploit vulnerabilities in your browser...

Don't follow the links.
