I have just recently upgraded to Carlson Survey 2020 OEM and I’m unable to create a block. After I select my objects I get the following message: “WBlock operation rejected due to a proxy object that does not allow copying”

The block is just straight line work. It doesn’t even have text. I tried to copy the linework to the clipboard and that operation also failed. I would greatly appreciate any assistance to correct this matter.

I had this same problem with one clients drawing and it was maddening. The only thing that worked was to save off the clients drawing as a 2004 DXF and then open a blank DWG and insert the entire other drawing. It actually worked and removed all the objects in the clients drawing. Good luck !
