Area/Square ftg of Shaded/Hatched locations

Postby gpsurveyor » Tue Apr 07, 2009 3:59 pm

Hello,
I'm trying to do what seems like would be a simple function of getting the area for a "Shaded" or "Hatched" location. When I highlight a location, it will not give me the values under properties? I am not erasing them during the drawing clean-up, for quantities, which I thought would save some time, and have tried shrink-wrapping. What am I doing wrong?

Type HATCHEDIT at the command line and select the hatch that is missing the boundary. Then in the dialog, select the button on the right that says "Recreate Boundary".

If the hatch was created using "pick point", the new boundary will be seperate entities and you will need to use the "join nearest" command to connect the boundary back together.

If it was originally created using "select objects", the new boundary will be a solid polyline.

Let me know if you need anything further.
