Problem with Volumes

Hi!
We just started using Carlson about a month ago and overall its great. It is taking some time to get used to, since we were using Land Desktop 2004. For the most part, I've been able to figure out my issues, but this one has me stumped.

I have two surfaces, created in Carlson, and I want to get the overall cut/full volumes. The existing .tin was made from points and the proposed .tin was created using breaklines. When I try to get a volume, this is the report I get:

Cut volume: 0.00 C.Y.
Fill volume: 0.00 C.Y.

Area in Cut : 48,692.2 S.F.
Area in Fill: 7,838.0 S.F.
Total inclusion area: 56,531.0 S.F.

Average Cut Depth: -1.#J feet
Average Fill Depth: -1.#J feet
Export Volume: 0.0 C.Y.
Elevation Change To Reach Balance: 0.000
Volume Change Per .1 ft: 209.4 C.Y.

Cut Swell Factor : 0.000
Fill Shrink Factor: 0.000
Cut (C.Y.) / Area (acres): 0.00
Fill (C.Y.) / Area (acres): 0.00

Max Cut: 35.244 at 773072.998,2877940.485
Max Fill: 4.854 at 773204.206,2877665.061

I can also create cut and fill ticks for the site without a problem but when I try to create a report, I get the same issue as above. I've tried Volume by tin and volume by layers (using the tri-lines that the surface makes).

I've using Carlson 2018 Build 180109 on top of IntelliCAD 8.3

To make it even odder, when I ran the volume by TIN on a different computer in the office, it worked and I got a report with numbers that seem correct.

So when you ran it using Carlson on the other computer. If so, then you probably need to reinstall it. If not, I have no idea. I've never had that issue. All the best.

I had that problem, and this is what tech support told me to do, and it worked:

Your cut swell/fill shrink factors or set to 0 - set them to 1 and you should be good.
