INTERSECTIONS WITHOUT PLACING POINT

I am pretty new to Carlson, just started using it in December, 2013, but I've been running Autocad with Eagle Point since 1995 ... yes, the DOS days. Just to let you know, I'm running Carlson 2014 with Intellicad. I would like to know if there is a way to do an intersection (distance/distance, bearing/bearing, etc.) without placing a point.
