I just got the error again with the same command in a different file
that
contains only 240 points, mostly in the 5000 range, but there are
points
at
9500-9502.
Has anyone found this error happening to them?
Randall have you found anything on this?

Is your CRD file approaching 32000 points?
No
Does it only happen with a certain CRD file?
I've seen this with others, not all files. I haven't noticed that
it
does
it
every time on this particular file. If it is this particular file
what
should I do? Create a new CRD file and copy the points over?
Does it only happen when adding points via the entities to points
command?
Not positive, but is the only one I can remember.

This is a message from writing to the CRD file. It means that
the
program could not set the file pointer to store the point. Is
your CRD
file
approaching 32000 points? Does it only happen with a certain CRD
file?
DOes
it only happen when adding points via the entities to points
command ?

I sometimes get an error "Can't move file pointer for update
to
offset
388024 record# 6929" with the Create points from entities
routine.
The
point
number does not exist.
What is causing this?
