units angle type changing

When I start a new drawing, the angle unit type is surveyor's units.
After
executing a traverse under cogo, the units angle type changes to
radians.
Any ideas why?

John,
I cannot repeat this. Are you sure it's the Traverse command making
this change and not another command? It would be helpful if you could
provide a step by step procedure that you use to make this happen.
Please include the command line history also.
