precision for Annotation

Postby Jason » Tue Aug 21, 2001 5:28 am

I would like to see a customizable setting for precision on Annotating
Bearing and Distances. I like to have my units in DDUNITS set to four
decimals for when I ID a point in the drawing, but I'm forced to keep it
set
to two decimal places because the annotation labels use the precision
setting that it is set to. All other labeling features give this
setting,
including offset distances and building labels.

Jason,
This is something that has been in the works for a while. It didn't
quite make it into CES. Look
for this feature in the next version.

Randall,

Along the same thought process, CES will modify the current dimstyle
when
annotating with a leader. No big deal except when the style is one that
I
created and use regularly in my drawings. Then I have to continually go
back and reset the style. It would be great if CES created and used its
own
dim styles.
