Terry
thanks for the hint but this is not what I was looking for ( I have been
usin map for a while).
My problem is that when i run the coordinate transformation of a .crd
file
in survcadd running map3 I can transform the .crd file coordinates
choosing
from the Map 5 set of available coordinate system (therefore if I want
to go
from a lat long to Vietnam south..... I can).
Using survcadd with map 3; on the coordinate transformation screen from
coordinate file utilities I can choose the "Other" option and...
voila'...
the Autocad Map dialog window for input and output coordinate system
comes
up giving me the option to choose from the coordinate systems for the
entire
world including the Republic of Tongo.
Now.... if I run Survcadd CES with Map 5 I cannot do the same thing and
i
get stucked with the few choices available with Survcadd.
My point is that I would like to do the same thing I used to do with Map
3
with my new Map5.
Thanking you in advance and hoping that I have been clear enough this
time.

I used to perform this task perfectly (and I still have
to...unfortunately!!!) with my old Map3/survcadd CES installation.
A detailed procedure of using AutoCAD Map for drawing coordinate
conversion can be found at
