I used the /points/edit points/ command and deleted 34 points at the end of
the file. I then ran... CFU/Update Drawing from CRD File with "Erase points
from drawing that are not in CRD file" checked. I took almost five minutes
to update the drawing? More below....
Command:
Command: CFU
Tested Entities> 7623 Points found> 3611
---------------------------
AutoCAD Message
---------------------------
Points Updated: 2163
Points Erased: 34
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
How were 2163 points updated? There are 3577 points in the file, with a
point number range from 1-6502. Is there a default box somewhere to
automatically delete points from the drawing, if you delete them from the
coordinate file? I guess I don't understand why it is an option. Why would
you ever wants points in your drawing file that had been deleted from the
project or CRD file? Do I have to do this process each time I delete points
from the CRD file? The updates are killing my computer...

I've mentioned before that we work with some very large coordinate files
with 30,000 plus points. I'm not sure we can work with those files in
Carlson and AutoCAD. It seems weird because we never really have problems
working with the files in the data collector, even in dos mode, but when I
try to work with the files in AutoCAD on a 1.7Ghz machine, it's killing me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
