Change Polyline type

I'm running XML with XP Pro. Recently I installed a cogoutil file sent to
me by Barkley. Don't know if that has anything to do with my problem, but
now when I try to change polyline type, say to a fenceline, I get an invalid
command message. Any ideas?

I need to append my message: The linetypes I'm trying to change were drawn
with Field to Finish.

Correction:
Works for me if I change the polyline to Special Line...
and doesn't work in case of Cange Poyline Linetype...

If you are talking about the command "Change Polyline Linetype", is your
entity a 3D polyline? Although you can assign a linetype to a 3D polyline,
it will not display it. This is an AutoCAD issue that has been around
forever.

If you LIST the polyline after running the command, it will show that the
linetype you selected has been applied. If you explode the polyline, you
will see the linetype displayed.
