Array along path?

Postby Matt Timion » Thu Dec 19, 2002 12:29 am

Hello all,

I am attempting to array a object along a path. The array function of
autocad seems to lack several useful features, like selecting a path. Is
there a way to array along a path?

You might try the divide command. This will allow you to place a block
along an entity at a specified interval.

Actually, MEASURE allows you to specify an interval for placement, while
DIVIDE allows you to specify the number of segments.

in the measure command, when it asks for the length of segment (Specify
length of segment or [Block]:) type B for block. This will allow you to use
any block that has been defined in your current drawing.
