Tree Survey Report

Postby J.R. Faulk » Tue Apr 08, 2003 6:24 am

What's the easiest way to get a tree survey report? I have quite a few tree
surveys/topos and need the easiest way to get a tree table, along with
corresponding numbers on the trees. I'm sure there is a better way to do it
than what I'm doing now, which is copying the coord file to a different
name, deleting all non-tree points, exporting to excel, changing my tree
codes to actual specie name and then inserting the table into the drawing as
an OLE object. Any ideas would be most welcome. I have read the manual,
but can't seem to find anything better, although I would probably find it if
I wasn't in a rush to get the work out the door.

Thanks in advance,

Points Commands->List Points->
In the List Points dialog box at Description Match type your demands.
Use Report Formatter to customize the fields and layout of the point
report, press Display in Report Formatting Options window and the choose
Screen icon button on the next window.
Hope this helps,
