San. Sewer labels

Is there a way to automatically label the plan part of the sewer with
manhole No.s, rim and invert elevations? Should the plan part be drawn first
and then used to create the profile or the other way around? Why, when you
enter use mh center and type in the slope you want does it slightly change
the slope to something smaller, i.e.: .40% to .39%? and how can this be
avoided?

I don't believe so. I suppose some of this information could be automated,
such as
labeling the descriptor (mh #?) and elevation (rim?) of a point, but that
still leaves
the invert to be done manually.

Personally I can't see how one can do the profile first. One would not even
know how
long the pipe is to be. I usually draw the plan alignment, solve a profile
from the existing
ground surface, and plot that profile so that I can visualize the design
profile related to
existing.

Perhaps someone else can field this question. I recall playing with the
different options,
but it has been quite a while.

Enter the invert as description in .CRD file and you will get what you are
looking for.
