3d polyline arc

Postby Cory Sullivan » Thu May 29, 2003 5:19 pm

I realize that you can't create a 3d polyline arc, but how do most of you
handle the situation.. .for example along a curb?

I COPY the arc to my layer for 3d work (I wish to retain the original true
arc).

Then, 2D to 3D by starting and ending elevation (or other 2d-3d routine).
These routines perform something similar to "Remove polyline arcs" from the
edit menu.... the arc is chorded.

Edit - Polyline utilities - Remove polyline arcs to create an arc with small
chords, then make it 3D.
