“Undefined code found prior to drawing”

Postby Slim » Wed May 05, 2010 2:06 pm

I'm getting the error message “Undefined code found prior to drawing” “Point ‘110’ has undefined code”. The point code is setup in the FLD file. And when I do bring in any points using Field to Finish I get the point with the DESCRIPTOR stripped out.

I'm sure it's a setting that I'm not able to locate yet. If anyone has had this problem and gotten it fixed please let me know.

Here’s the fix. The program crashed last Friday and in the process corrupted the “C:\Documents and Settings\*your profile*\Application Data\Carlson Software\Carlson2008\R17.0\USER\ fld2fin.ini” file. All I had to do was delete that file, restart AutoCAD, reset the location of the FLD file and rerun Field to Finish.

Hope this helps anyone that runs into this problem. :)

And thanks to Lon at Carlson Customer Support for his help.
