Rotation Problem When Plottting to HP

Postby zkowasz » Mon May 17, 2010 12:13 pm

I am running Carlson 2010 with intellicad on Windows XP and a HP Designjet 500 42. I can't get it to rotate a ARCH C on to a 24" roll correctly. Using autorotate or checking the rotate by 90 box did not make a difference. I tried updating the driver but that did not help. I still do not have any problems printing out of autocad 14 with the same Computer and setup. Has anyone else ran into this, or have any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance,
Zach

This is plotter dependent, not Carlson or IntelliCAD. Go to print setup, select your printer. Setup your plot options the way you want them by selecting your plot style paper side etc. Once you have the plot looking good in plot preview click on the properties box next to your printer. There is an option in there that will change your plot from portrait to landscape. On my plotter (HP T610) it should be set to landscape. Just mess around with the settings until you get them right.
