Point Attribute Offsets

Postby johnz » Thu Oct 14, 2010 5:03 pm

How do you afjust the offsets of Point Attributes(PT#, EL, Des.)? I want the attributes to be closer to the point symbol without having to manually adjust them.

There are some very useful options available with point attributes. You can choose any one of the 10 Attribute Layout IDs which have different configurations for the three attributes(PntNo,PntElev & PntDesc) relative to the symbol. You can also customise these 10 configurations to suit your requirements. The drawings for these point attributes can be found in your document & settings folder & the program directory with names srvpno0..9.dwg. You can edit these drawings and save them. I keep my own customised srvpno0..9.dwg in my own directory and copy them across to these directories when I have a major upgrade. You may have to close and restart Carlsons before you see the impact.
