interior angle deed

Postby Bruce Bock » Sun Feb 20, 2011 6:19 pm

hi,

Working with Survey>Enter Deed Description.

How does one enter a deed that describes a parcel with interior angles, i.e. "Thence, forming an interior angle to the right of 65° 30' with the previous course....."

I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks

You can do it by line or 2d polyline with angle codes.
2dpolyline > Distance > (enter distance) > Angle >(Code: 1-NE 2-SE 3-SW 4-NW 5-AZ 6-AL 7-AR 8-DL 9-DR) Enter 7 for angle right, 6 for angle left).
The Enter Deed Description don't allow for any angular input except bearings, but you can plot it up this way.

Thanks! I kinda thought that was the case, but sometimes I can't see the forest...

Maybe Carlson could add: "Code: 1-NE 2-SE 3-SW 4-NW 5-AZ 6-AL 7-AR 8-DL 9-DR"

to the "Enter Deed Description" Routine.....
