edit surface boundary

Postby Bill Doucet » Mon Apr 25, 2011 12:08 pm

We are in the final drafting stages of a large project. We need to add 6 points to the tin that are outside the surface boundary. Is there a way to edit the boundary without having to start our work on the tin over?

First of all let me say, I have never done this. Now I will give you my unfounded opinions. :D
One, try bringing in the new points, pedit the boundry line to include the new points and then do an "add points" under the surface edit.
OR, insert the new points into a new drawing, shrink wrap a border and build a surface using the new points only. Then do a merge surface of the two surfaces in the original drawing.
