Points can be located by direction and distance two ways. You can also draw your lines by angle/distance and then put points at the PI's.
Look under the COGO tab. If you wish to establish points by direction/distance, you can do that using the TRAVERSE option OR you can locate points using the LOCATE BY BEARING/ANGLE.
Either way will locate your points for you. Each option will allow you to use bearings, azimuths or turned angles.
But then, I imagine you have already figured this on out. I just saw it, but I'm usually the last one to the party anyway.
