incomplete hatch

When I use the hatch command to fill a boundary, line or polyline, the pattern is incomplete inside the boundary. I do not have any text boxes overlaying the boundary, but normally the blank space is rectangular and at an angle. This occurs when in all colors, and with continuous linetypes. Any thoughts?

They may be text masks that are showing. Type WIPEOUT and turn the frames ON. If they appear, simply erase them and rehatch.

If that doesn't fix your problem, try resetting the origin point for the hatch pattern.
