CARLSON SURVEY ON MICROSTATION??

Let me say first I am a surveyor, old school. I have learned Microstation with geopak and I see it to be a very good drawing platform. I have been exposed to Carlson and using for about 6 months now. I like many of the features I have used, But autocad\intelllicad vs micristation is difficult. Many tools present in microstation are not readily available in intellicad\autocad.
I would like to see Carlson running on Microstation, i think this would be great for everyones business. Any hopes in the future???
