Google Earth Surface

I have the following error when trying to import a Google earth surface into my drawing: Cannot initialize Google Earth. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Google Earth but this has not worked. Any suggestions??

Which year of Carlson are you using and are you running the most current build?
I remember having this issue with one build of Carlson 2012.

I am running Carlson 2013 and yes I have the most recent build ie. dec. 4, 2012.
