I CREATED A VIEWPORT USING POLYGON WITH ABOUT TEN VERTICES, BUT WHEN I SET THE VIEW AND CLICK ON THE PRINTER SYMBOL IN THE LAYERS FOR IT NOT TO PRINT IT STILL PRINTS THE VIEWPORT OUTLINE, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I AM DOING WRONG /

I THINK that when you make it a viewport frame it becomes an image frame. Try typing "imageframe" on the command line and then select "off". You may also need to turn the layer that the polyline is on off or freeze that layer.

If this is still a problem for you try putting the viewport in a layer (i.e. VPORTS) that is set to not plot. You should see the contents of the viewport but not the outline.

Put it on a layer by itself and turn it off. The contents will plot, but the viewport will not.

I tried putting it on a layer by itself and freezing it, turning it off and setting it to not plot, but to no avail it has something to do with it being a polygon viewport, I am going to try the imageframe and see if that works and thanks everyone
