Does anyone know how to import text in the mtext editor after you select the 2 ends of the box and the editor pops up? I know that in autocad you can right click and the imoprt option shows up, but I am using Carlson 2013 with intelicad 7.
Thanks

Ctrl_C works. Or do you need to copy something more format dependent?

OK, the top right icon in the MTEXT editor is for OPTIONS, this will give you a menu with IMPORT TEXT in it.

Actually I was looking for the IMPORT option, but in Carlson 2013 with Icad 7, there is no import option, so I had to use copy paste, I think this is another screw up by Carlson, anyway thanks guys

Uh, sounds more like an Intellicad short fall to me. Don't shoot the messanger.
That's why, when I am asked, I tell people to stay with the AutoCad Embedded version for now. Yes, you save a few bucks, but, yes, you have more bugs. It's a reasonable trade off, so complaining is kinda silly.

We have vanilla autocad 2014 and civil3d, but choose intellicad 95% of the time, now that we know the program pretty well.
The last few builds of 7.2 have been pretty stable.
You can import text with the textin command at the command line, or text import under the Draw>Text pulldown. TIN is the quick key, I believe.
