Exporting ESRI Shape files with a .prj file

Is there any way to create a .prj file in Carlson Survey 2015 OEM? We send shape files to our oilfield clients and have never had a problem with the files that are created through Carlson since we set up our projects with the correct projection, zone, datum and coordinate system. Today we had someone who requested the .prj and .qpj files. I did a search within Carlson, read through my "A Practical Guide to Carlson Survey 2014, Level 1", and could not find anything. I do not have the 2015 Practical Guide, possibly it is in there?

under the "GIS DATA" menu there is an option to export ESRI SHP file and separately there is an option to export ESRI projection file.

Thank you "mlbtruth".
I found a free program called MapWindow GIS that creates .prj files. Of course, I found the program the day before the client sent us an email stating that she finally figured out how to do the conversions in ERSI with the information we originally provided (State Plane, U.S. feet, Zone and Lat/Long Datum).
