IS THERE A WAY TO SPECIFY THE VERTICAL ELEVATION WHEN INPUTING A SIDE SHOT AS OPPOSED TO VERTICAL DIFFERENCE OR VERTICAL ANGLE?

monksjm,
When you first click on "SIDE SHOTS" the text in the command line is
Exit/Help Options/Points/Line/Inverse/<Angle-Bearing Code <7>:
type in O then press enter
You will get a dialog box for the horizontal and vertical angle prompts. Simply choose prompt/Azimuth/Right for horizontal angle and none/o degrees level/90 degrees level/elev difference.
When you do side shots for the first time in a new drawing you will get the prompt on screen for the first side shot, after that the only way to change these options is by choosing "O-options" in the beginning of the command.
