Basic Draw Command Question

Postby rfasick » Mon Jul 13, 2015 1:47 am

Hi, I've recently purchased the OEM version of Carlson Survey 2015 specifically to have some of the basic AutoCAD functionality I am used to. If possible, I'd like to turn on the standard AutoCAD "draw" toolbar. If that isn't available, my next question is this; how can I draw a 2d polyline with ortho locked and dynamic distance input. Example: I want to draw a closed object with all 90 degree turns by pulling the mouse in the correct direction and entering the distance. Using the Carlson 2d polyline command, I can't seem to do it this way. Help?

F8 for Ortho, F12 for Dynamic Input. Create Rectangle with RECTANG command (type in command line). I 90% confident the standard AutoCAD toolbar is available. You can access many normal AutoCAD commands through the command line though. My observations are based on 2013 OEM version. Good luck

I'd like to turn on the standard AutoCAD "draw" toolbar.

Right click in the background of the toolbar area.

choose SURV

check on the DRAW toolbar.

That's how my version does it, I hope that helps.
