Alignment Staking and Report Bug??

Postby Blaszman » Wed Sep 19, 2018 6:55 pm

Wondering if I am doing something wrong, or if there is a bug in the software when staking an alignment exactly at a PI (using a CL file derived from a landxml exported file from the civil guys).

SItuation, when hitting the advance button and advancing along the alignment, when advancing to an exact horizontal PI location, with an offset of 0 (so staking the centerline), using either Offset Bk or Offset Ah (Offset by itself is not available at the exact PI), the software stakes the location correctly in the field, but the reported station and offset that shows up on Stakeout Report and also what goes into the cutsheet is wacked. It reports both the design and staked stations as -98765+432.1 and the design offset as R10. Interestingly enough the point description using the default settings reports the correct station and offset.

If I change the station by just 1mm either ahead or back of the PI, then it works as intended, no issues.

Is this a known bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
