Plotting in 7.0

Postby Mike North, P.L.S. » Wed Feb 23, 2005 7:59 pm

I have copied all of the plotters and pen assignment tables from my CG 6.0
folders into the CG 7.0 folders of the same name, but it says my pen
assignment table is missing.

Any clues?

Found it with Barry's help. Copy your files in to the Plotter and Plot
Styles folders of

C:\Documents and Settings\{your user name}\Application Data\C & G Software
Systems\CGSurvey 7\R7\enu\Plotters {& Plot Styles}

I found that out the hard way too. Can't figure out why it works that
way. Weird.

What's weird? The fact that the support files are location under
"C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data..." ?

That is so AutoCAD is Microsoft compliant for use with roaming profiles.

The thing I find weird is that there are 2 plot style folders. The one
that seems to be in the logical location (a sub folder of CG7) is not
the correct one to use.
