File upload problem

We have a recurring problem when trying to add points to an existing job. Naturally, it doesn't happen all the time.
When we have the problem, we get the following error messages:
"Unable to remove temporary file"
After pressing "OK", we then get:
"An error occured during the import procedure. The program will use the backup original CRD file"
We have tried all sorts of eye of newt/wing of bat solutions, none of which work.
We use space-delimited PNEZD files, but have also tried comma-delimted with no joy.
Any suggestions??
