conversion of coordinate files from .crd to .sdr

Postby waisbess » Sat Mar 06, 2010 8:14 am

Hi. I have a pentax w-822nx on which survce is installed. My job creates only .crd and .rw5 files & no .sdr file. So when i copy & paste onto my p.c using autosync the .crd file is corrupted when opened in MS Excel. Please advise on how i can convert to a file format like .sdr where i can view & edit my coordinates in Excel. Thanx

Under the file tab on SurvCe select 7). Import/ Export. This will convert the CRD file into a structure you can use with other programs. Supported file types are TXT, ASC, CSV (works great with Excel), and CR5 amongst others. You can also Import a TXT or CSV file from Excel into a job just using the reverse functions. Hope that helps.
