I just upgraded to 2.5 from 2.09 and still can't access the help files. I get the message:

"Help not available."
"Internet Explorer Browser not available."

Internet Explorer is there and SEEMS to be available, apparently just not to the help files.

Been there, tried that, no joy.

There is (and was at the time of my first post, because I did check the KB before asking for help) a folder called HtmlHelp in the Program Files\SurvCE\SurvStar folder with a slew of Html files in it totaling 17846297 bytes, as well as a folder called Images with a bunch of .jpg's & stuff totaling 16521012 bytes. Internet Explorer works OK, or at least I think it does, since I can surf the net thru the bluetooth ActiveStync connection, but I just cannot access the SurvCE helpfiles.
