Coordinate File Empty

Postby jteitelbaum » Thu Sep 29, 2011 12:44 pm

We're having a problem where our field crew is getting into the field and their coordinate file is empty. During the transfer from PC to data collector all the points in the coordinate file get erased. This only happens from the coordinate files that were created on one specific computer, coordinate files that are created on other computers transfer to the data collector with no problems.

Thoughts?

Data Missing from Collector Following Upload

Please give Carlson Tech Support a call at 606-564-5028. There are a couple of reasons why the data may not transfer properly to your collector. I would like to discuss this issue with you, further.

sounds like that specific computer is sending your data to a different file in the data collector! your probably using survcom! look into active sync if so.
goodluck!

Brian, I just spoke to someone from your office.

My coordinate file format was set to C and G Numeric instead of Carlson Numeric.

Problem resolved!

Thanks
