I've just started to use SurvCE 3.0 on a STONEX S7-G. Besides a number of successful point measurements, it happened more than once that the RTK-signal could not be received.
After the RTK-server (http://www.swispos.ch) has been successfully connected, the device tries to read the RTK stream but fails with the following error message: "Not receiving base corrections!".
Q) What exactly is the reason for this message, poor GPRS/RTK reception and/or inadequate GPS reception?
I haven't found any solution to fix this behavior consistently so far. However, one of the following actions helped most of the time:
- re-connect
- disconnect / reconnect RTK
- stop and restart SurvCE
What suprises me is the fact that quite often there is no workaround but to exit and restart SurvCE.
Q) Is this a known issue or am a I missing something?
Q) Is there an easier way to recover from that state?
